The College offers an exciting new approach to trade training and senior secondary education. No where else can apprentices commence a trade, earn a wage AND finish high school.
Right now there is a shortage of properly trained tradespeople in Australia, especially in the Pilbara. Demand is very high for young people with the right trades training - and that, along with completing Year 12, means secure employment and good income.
Pindan College is designed for year 11 or 12 students who want to begin a trade apprenticeship while completing their Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE).
Apprentices of the College benefit from commencing a trade, building a business network and completing the necessary education to help gain them entry to the workforce, TAFE or University.
